Simone Affabris

Simone Affabris is a furniture and product designer from Italy, currently based in Sweden. Graduated from IUAV University of Design in Venice (Italy), he later completed his master’s at HDK University in Gothenburg (Sweden). The fortune to be born in Venice — a city rich in traditions and beauty — has allowed Simone to develop a keen sense of aesthetics, which he applies in his work. Currently, Simone is deeply interested in wood joinery and woodworking. He also believes that everything can become an inspiration for designing a new product.

Simone’s works combine Italian design roots with the cleanness and functionality that Swedish design is famous for. His goal is a fusion of these two identities, focusing on smart packaging, wood joinery, and small details that make a product unique and appealing.
